At Sacramento State University this week, Sigma Kappa is getting prepared to start their recruitment for fall 2008.
Sigma Kappa Sorority currently consists of 40 members and is looking to recruit an additional 20 to 25 new members.
In preparation for recruitment the girls have been working hard on learning songs, dances, mock rushing, and trying to improve their sisterhood.
The sisters put in extensive hours and dedicate their summers to create all of the props and tables for each event they put on every day during recruitment week.
These workshops draw them closer together by working together to find out more information about their sisters.
Sigma Kappa sets specific GPA requirements to join. You are required to have a specific GPA of a 2.8 or higher to go through recruitment.
Sigma Kappa has been practicing and preparing for recruitment for over a month and a half now. Their hope is to get a lot of new faces to join their sorority this fall.
